Global AgriSystem started Indian operations as Cebeco India Private Limited in 1998 as a joint venture
with the Royal Cebeco Group Co-operative, the Netherlands. Royal Cebeco Group Co-operative, the
National Agriculture Holding Co-operative with 29 regional co-operatives and over 100 operating
companies had an annual turnover of over Euro 8 billion contributing to over 50% of Dutch agriculture.
Since June 2003, the name of the company has changed to Global AgriSystem Private Limited to reflect
its capabilities more accurately.
